Milanese go around with knives between their teeth!

A bit of a backyard picnic! Getting to know Adam and Heather, our church's worship and youth ministries leaders, a bit better over some grilled fish. YUM! It's been fun to gradually get to know some of the people we see frequently in large group settings on a more personal level. That's not such an easy thing as you might think in a busy place like Milan. It seems that it's not just us, but everyone around us, who have a too long list of things to be responsible for and so are usually "on a mission". Our sister Rosaria stated it well, "in Milan people are going about with knives between their teeth !" said because the Milanese are so intent upon their goals and ruthless to whatever/whoever comes in their way! Hopefully, Zeno and I don't go about our missions with knives between our teeth! Though, it is a daily choice to make sure we're making the people in our lives more important than the projects and pressures that we face. And, it's great to have friends like Adam and Heather to remind us of that!
